As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and challenging lessons, promoting physical health, teamwork, and a love for sport. The school is committed to providing a supportive environment for both students and staff, offering excellent facilities and resources.
Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and personal fitness among students.
- Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Organise and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and events.
- Work closely with other staff to create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Requirements for PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching PE in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
