English Teacher
Location: Cramlington
Salary: £125 - £155 per day

Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Cramlington? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and motivated English Teacher to join our supportive school community. As an English Teacher, you will have the chance to engage with students, encouraging them to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills. Your enthusiasm and subject knowledge will play a key role in shaping the success of your pupils.

Responsibilities as an English Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Support students in improving their literacy skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Foster a love for English and inspire students to achieve their best.

To be a successful English Teacher, you need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience as an English Teacher, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for English.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
