Job Title: Science Teacher (Biology – KS4)
Location: Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £140 - £220 per day
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher with expertise in Biology to teach Key Stage 4 students at schools in Chesterfield. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to inspire and nurture the next generation of scientists.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Biology lessons tailored to the KS4 curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student outcomes.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialization in Science.
• Proven experience teaching Biology at KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the KS4 curriculum.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Passion for education and dedication to student success.
• UK Driving License and Business Insurance.
