Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £140 - £220 per day
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join secondary schools in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students through the power of language and literature, encouraging their personal and academic growth.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess stimulating English lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and a love for literature.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and achievement.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and exam preparation techniques.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Passionate, dedicated, and ready to inspire young minds.
• UK Driving License and Business Insurance.
