Location: Dibden Perlieu
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will provide vital support to students with SEN, ensuring they have access to an inclusive and enriching educational experience. Your role will involve working closely with teachers to adapt lessons, support individual learning needs, and foster student confidence and independence.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA):

  • Offer one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide emotional and social support to help students thrive.
  • Monitor student progress and report insights to the teaching team.
  • Adapt resources and teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Provide personal care and support where necessary.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Role:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) is beneficial but not essential.
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and creativity in addressing varied learning needs.
  • A genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
