Trainee Science Teacher – Secondary School – Chichester

GSL Education is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Chichester. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive and innovative team, delivering engaging lessons that foster students' scientific curiosity and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a passion for scientific enquiry and ensure students understand scientific concepts.
  • Develop engaging, creative lesson plans to stimulate student interest in the subject.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they meet or exceed expected learning outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for science.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and an ability to build positive relationships.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
