Trainee Science Teacher – Secondary School – Chichester
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent or Fixed-term

GSL Education is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Chichester. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive and innovative team, delivering engaging lessons that foster students' scientific curiosity and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a passion for scientific enquiry and ensure students understand scientific concepts.
- Develop engaging, creative lesson plans to stimulate student interest in the subject.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they meet or exceed expected learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for science.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong classroom management skills and an ability to build positive relationships.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
