We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Chichester. The Role:
- Supporting students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.
- Assisting in delivering tailored interventions to promote academic and personal development.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure every student's needs are met.
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence among students.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to promoting an inclusive learning environment.
- A relevant qualification (such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous but not essential.
