Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: High Peak
Salary: £100 – £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are searching for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in High Peak. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, helping to create a positive learning experience for all pupils.
In this role, you will play a key part in creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of engaging lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Encourage active participation and positive behaviour within the classroom.
- Assist with planning and preparing learning materials when required.
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements of Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, but not essential.
- A passion for helping children learn and grow.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (including explanations for any gaps).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
