Pay Rate: £155 to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (Temporary to Permanent option)

About the Role:
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality religious education and inspiring students to develop a love for learning about different religions and cultures. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging religious education lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
- Teach religious education lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular activities and events related to religious education, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject.
- Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Promote respect and understanding of different religions and cultures, ensuring students appreciate the importance of diversity.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), or equivalent certification.
- Be able to provide a ten-year career history with relevant reference details covering the last two years, including your most recent place of academic employment.
- Experience in teaching religious education is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in religious education.
- Commitment to promoting a love for learning and a curiosity about different religions and cultures.
- Relevant qualifications or training in religious education (desirable but not essential).
