We at GSL Education Kent are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher for a full-time role in a well-established secondary school in Canterbury. This position starts immediately and is ideal for an educator who is committed to delivering engaging and high-quality maths lessons. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Maths, with responsibilities including planning, marking, and attending relevant after-school meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to a diverse range of learners.

Support and challenge students to achieve their best in a structured and inclusive learning environment.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards in the maths department.

Encourage a passion for mathematics and problem-solving among students.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.

Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
