Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Autism) | Full-Time | Poole
Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s educational journey? We’re seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a bright and enthusiastic Year 4 pupil with Autism at a welcoming primary school in Poole.
This is a full-time position, starting ASAP, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent, tailored support to a Year 4 pupil with Autism

Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to adapt lessons and activities

Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

Foster emotional and social development through patience and encouragement
✅ Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience supporting children with Autism is desirable

Experience working with children in any capacity (e.g., in schools, clubs, or care settings) is essential

Calm, empathetic, and reliable with a flexible approach

Committed to promoting inclusion and celebrating individual strengths
