Art Teacher
Location: Shepway
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (Until July 2025)

We at GSL Education Kent are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for an Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Shepway, covering a maternity leave from next week through to the end of the academic year in July. As a Teacher of Art, your role will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging and imaginative lessons that foster a love for the arts.
• Supporting students in developing their technical skills across various media and styles.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing meaningful feedback to promote growth.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures student expression.
• Contributing to departmental planning, exhibitions, and extra-curricular opportunities.

To be considered for the Art Teacher role, you must:
• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification (such as QTLS or PGCE). Overseas-trained teachers are welcome to apply.
• Possess a degree in Art, Design, or a related discipline.
• Have experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for arts education and student creativity.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
