Location: Louth
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering a broad and balanced English curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking and a lifelong love of reading and writing. Working within a collaborative department, you'll support students in reaching their full potential.
English Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
- Encourage students to explore a variety of literary genres and texts.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that motivates and challenges learners.
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
English Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all students.
- A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
