Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025/Immediate
Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Needs Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Bournemouth. About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative, personalised lessons that meet the individual needs of your students. You will create a safe and encouraging environment that supports learning, personal development, and emotional well-being.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to support students with a range of SEN.
  • Use engaging and adaptive teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Build a positive, structured classroom setting that promotes student confidence.
  • Provide consistent behavioural and emotional support.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies.
  • Maintain strong communication with families and carers.
  • Track student progress and contribute to review meetings and reports.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • A passion for inclusive education and helping young people achieve their best.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
  • A flexible and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • A current CV covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
