Job Title: Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £425 - £550 per week (Depending on Experience)

A supportive and inclusive school in Rotherham is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential through one-to-one support, small group work, and whole-class assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning resources.
  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor and record pupils’ progress, reporting to the teacher as required.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learners.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
