Job Title: ECT MFL Teacher (French & Spanish)
Location: Redbridge
Salary: £165 - £265 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Long Term

An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish) to join their team this September 2025. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a motivated ECT who is ready to make language learning engaging, relevant, and exciting for students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and deliver creative, interactive lessons that build language confidence and cultural awareness.
- Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and targeted support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in school activities and training sessions.
- Engage with the ECT induction programme and benefit from mentorship and professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- A strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish.
- A passion for languages and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
