Geography Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary Range: £185 - £265 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract Type: Long-Term

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join schools in Tower Hamlets. As a Teacher of Geography, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that encourage students to engage with the world’s landscapes, cultures, and environments.

Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and informative Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop a keen interest in geographical concepts and global issues.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to students of varying abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect and understanding.
- Support students' academic progress and development through constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development.
Geography Teacher Skills & Qualification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
