KS2 Class Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: £130 - £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities of Key Stage 2 Class Teacher:

  • Teach all areas of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to pupil needs.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and development.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents.
  • Support the emotional, social, and academic needs of all learners.
  • Implement school policies, including those on safeguarding and assessment.
  • Use a range of teaching methods and ICT to enhance learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.

Requirements for KS2 Class Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching in KS2.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
  • Ability to plan and differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
  • A valid enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
