SEN Teacher – Hammersmith and Fulham

Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Salary: £150 to £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education is currently looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to work in a supportive SEN school located in Hammersmith and Fulham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals.

  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

  • Promote students’ emotional and academic development through positive reinforcement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.

  • Has previous experience working in SEN settings (SEMH, ASD, MLD, PMLD preferred).

  • Patient, empathetic, and able to manage challenging behaviour effectively.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

  • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
