Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Enfield

Location: Enfield
Salary: £85 to £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN setting in Enfield. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with complex special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with a range of complex needs, including PMLD, ASD, and physical disabilities.

  • Assisting with personal care and mobility needs where necessary.

  • Promoting inclusion and helping pupils engage in tailored learning activities.

  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to implement EHCPs.

  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment that encourages confidence and independence.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN setting, preferably with complex needs.

  • Resilient, empathetic, and patient nature.

  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

  • Willingness to assist with personal care tasks.
