SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School in Central Southampton
Location: Central Southampton | Salary: £83 - £95 per day | Start Date: ASAP | Contract: Full-time, Long-term

The Role:
- Work closely with students in the school’s specialist support hub to ensure their educational and emotional needs are met.
- Support the delivery of bespoke interventions for students with EHCPs and additional learning needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and academic progress through tailored 1:1 and small group support.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or care setting).
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be calm, patient, and resilient, with a genuine desire to help young people achieve their full potential.
- Hold a relevant qualification or be willing to undergo training (e.g. Team Teach).
