Job Title: SEN Support Worker
Location: Winton
Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full time/Permanent

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and helpful SEN Support Worker to join a friendly school in Winton. You will provide vital support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to learn and succeed.

About the Role:
You will work closely with teachers to give extra help to students who need it. This includes working one-on-one or in small groups, helping with lessons, and making sure all students can join in class activities.

What You Will Do:
• Give extra learning support to students with SEN.
• Help teachers adapt lessons for individual student needs.
Support students with their feelings and help them get along with others.
• Create a friendly and welcoming classroom.
• Help keep the classroom organised and encourage good behaviour.
• Track and share how students are doing with teachers.

What’s Needed for This Role:
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Teaching Assistant, especially with SEN, in a school.
• A strong desire to help students learn and do well.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt your support based on individual student needs.
• A CV covering the last ten years (with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
