Food Technology Teacher – Secondary School – Basingstoke
Full Time | September 2025 Start | Long-Term Opportunity

GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and high-achieving secondary school located in Basingstoke. We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Food Technology Teacher to join the Design & Technology department on a full-time basis starting in September 2025.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire students through practical and theory-based learning
  • Plan and prepare schemes of work that reflect a high standard of teaching and learning
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Food Technology in UK secondary schools
  • Be an enthusiastic educator with a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities
