Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with class teachers to deliver support for pupils across various key stages. You may be required to assist small groups or provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, helping to ensure they stay engaged, supported, and confident in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the teacher in preparing and delivering lesson materials.
  • Assisting pupils with learning activities and reinforcing positive behaviour strategies.
  • Offering additional help to pupils who may need more time or guidance with tasks.
  • Working with individuals or small groups to provide targeted intervention.
  • Helping to maintain a calm, organised, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting with classroom management, break duties, and administrative tasks.
  • Contributing to the emotional and social development of pupils by building positive relationships.
  • Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils under your care.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is desirable.
  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and well-being.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and use initiative.
  • Adaptability and the confidence to work with pupils of varying needs and abilities.
  • A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is beneficial but not essential.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
