Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Hourly Rate: £13.68 to £14.88 per hour (Depending on recent experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both teachers and students in the classroom, helping to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Your assistance will help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally, enabling them to reach their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting teachers in delivering lessons to primary-aged students.
• Supporting students with their academic work, ensuring they stay engaged and on track.
• Helping with the management of classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning attitudes.
• Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support as needed.
• Encouraging children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
• Communicating effectively with teachers and staff to ensure students’ needs are met.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children.
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting students.
• An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
