GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to undertake a position at our schools in Locks Heath. Your role will involve providing personalised assistance, promoting a love for learning, and contributing to the overall academic development of 1-1 and small group students in diverse subjects.

To excel in SEN Teaching Assistants role, it would be beneficial if you:
- Have prior experience in a school setting.
- Have experience working with children or adults with learning difficulties such as ADHD, SEMH, and ASC.
- Possess a solid understanding of Special Educational Needs or be willing to learn.
- Can demonstrate a clear understanding of the Teaching Assistant's role in a special need’s environment.
- Are capable of engaging students in their learning and supporting their social, emotional, and personal development.
- Develop an engaging learning environment that inspires all students to reach their full potential.
- Advocate for and support the growth and development of each student in your care.
The ideal candidate for SEN Teaching Assistants role should be:
- Caring and enthusiastic.
- Resilient and optimistic.
- Confident in managing challenging behaviour.
- Show a strong commitment to safeguarding.
To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
