Inspire and Guide Little Learners – KS1 Teacher Role Available!

Job Title: KS1 Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £125 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join a supportive and vibrant primary school in Sheffield. Key Stage 1 (KS1) covers the first two years of primary education, including children ages 5 to 7, and is a crucial stage in laying the foundation for their educational journey. If you are ready to inspire young learners, help them grow academically and socially, and create a positive and engaging classroom environment, we would love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
Assess and monitor the progress of pupils, providing regular feedback.
• Work closely with other staff to support the social and emotional development of students.
Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom organisation.
• Encourage a love of learning and help students develop essential skills for the future.

What We Are Looking For:
• A Qualified Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching KS1 pupils (desirable).
• A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
• An Up-to-date CV covering last 10 years with no unexplained gaps and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for a one).
