Classroom Support Worker
Location: Bovington
Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

If so, GSL Education are looking for a Classroom Support Worker to join schools in Bovington.
About the role:
In this Classroom Support Worker role, you will provide essential assistance to teachers and students, ensuring that every learner receives the support they need to succeed. Your role will involve working closely with students to help them engage with the curriculum, build confidence, and develop key learning skills.
Your Responsibilities as a Classroom Support Worker:
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
- Provide individual and small group support to students who need extra help.
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in class activities.
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with classwork, reading, and writing activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
- Promote independent learning while offering guidance where needed.
Requirements for a Classroom Support Worker:
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance (desirable but not essential).
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology or a similar field.
- Previous experience as a Classroom Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
- A positive and patient approach to supporting students in their learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- A commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
