Salary: £13.68 to £14.88 per hour (Depending on experience)

About the role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll make a real difference in student’s lives! You’ll help teachers bring lessons to life and create a classroom where everyone feels supported. Whether you’re working one-on-one or in small groups, you’ll guide students through challenges and help them reach their full potential. With a focus on supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), your role will be key in helping every child succeed and thrive!
Role Accountabilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Support students in their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils who require additional help.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation.
Role Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN, within a school environment
- A true passion for education and a strong desire to see students succeed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with teachers and students.
- The ability to adapt and support various learning styles and classroom dynamics.
- An updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
