Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £88.84 - £105 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive and inclusive school community in Scunthorpe. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons that keep students motivated and focused.
- Support students with SEN needs, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Work with individual students and small groups who require extra help and guidance.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere where every student feels valued.
- Help maintain an organised classroom, manage student behaviour, and assist with lesson preparation.
Criteria for Applicants:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally supporting students with SEMH or other SEN needs.
- A strong passion for supporting students in their educational journey.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students.
- The ability to adapt support to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last decade with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
