Salary: £88.84 - £105 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
GSL Education are looking for a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Scunthorpe school, where you'll provide tailored support to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, working closely with teachers to help them learn and develop essential skills through lesson assistance, one-on-one and small group support, and by creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
What You'll Do:
- Support engaging lessons.
- Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Provide individual and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Create a safe and welcoming learning environment.
- Assist with managing behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
- Work with teachers and support teams to meet students' needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Must have experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school or similar setting.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- A complete CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
