SEN Teacher – Lincoln
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £140 - £200 per day
Start Date: ASAP or September 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
GSL Education is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Lincoln. This role involves supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate to Profound Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD, PMLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet students’ individual needs.

Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, and SEN professionals.

Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Manage behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.
-
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Requirements:

QTS or QTLS (SEN experience desirable but not essential).

Experience supporting children with SEN in a specialist or mainstream setting.

Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Strong behaviour management skills.

A DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply.
