Cover Supervisor
Location: Folkestone and Hythe, Kent
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a reputable secondary school on a temporary to permanent basis, starting immediately. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive learning environment.

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.

  • Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with the school's behaviour policies.

  • Provide feedback to teachers regarding student engagement and behaviour.

  • Support students in their learning by addressing questions and clarifying instructions.

  • Uphold the school's values and contribute to its inclusive ethos.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role is advantageous.

  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic school environment.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
