Salary:  £85-£130 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students. You will work closely with teachers to enhance student learning, offering individual and small-group assistance to ensure all pupils thrive in the classroom. Your dedication will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students who require additional help.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role within a school setting.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • The ability to adapt and provide support tailored to different learning needs.
  • An updated CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
