Role: Secondary Science Teacher
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: After Easter 2025 or September 2025
Contract: Full-time (Permanent/Fixed Term), Part-time available for the right candidate

GSL Education needs a skilled Science Teacher to join a highly regarded mainstream secondary school in Eastleigh. Whether you're a dedicated educator with experience, an ECT, an overseas-trained teacher, or a proficient TA/Cover Supervisor ready to transition into teaching, we invite you to apply.
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will bring Science to life, inspiring students through practical experiments, real-world applications, and an enthusiasm for the subject.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to enhance student learning experiences and share innovative teaching strategies.
Requirements:
- QTS, ECT, or overseas equivalent (applications from experienced TAs or Cover Supervisors considering teaching are also welcomed).
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students.
- A passion for education and the ability to inspire young minds.
