Role: Science Teacher
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: After Easter 2025 or September 2025
Contract: Full-time (Permanent/Fixed Term), Part-time available for the right candidate

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) following the national curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for Science and achieve academic success.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress, ensuring high educational standards.
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and share best teaching practices.
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
Requirements:
- QTS, ECT, or overseas equivalent (applications from experienced TAs or Cover Supervisors considering teaching are also welcomed).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and contribution to the school community.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
