Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Salary Scale: £85-£130 per day

A School in Brentwood is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring students are fully engaged in learning activities.
- Support students with their academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Encourage positive behaviour and provide emotional support where needed.
- Work closely with class teachers to tailor learning strategies and activities that best suit individual student needs.
- Monitor student progress and assist with record-keeping of their academic and behavioural development.
- Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Inspire the students to reach their full potential.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a learning support role.
- A passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- GCSE's grade C (pass) or above
- Relevant experience working with children that have special educational needs.
