English Tutor
Location: A school in Spalding
Salary: £25- £35 per hour
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a passionate and dedicated English Tutor to support students in a secondary school in Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, providing targeted intervention and helping students achieve their potential in English.
Responsibilities:

Deliver focused English intervention sessions to small groups or individual students.

Support students in understanding key concepts and improving literacy skills.

Work closely with teaching staff to identify learning gaps and plan sessions accordingly.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:

A strong understanding of the English curriculum.

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is desirable.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
