Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £95 - £100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Chesterfield.
As a Primary TA, you will assist in delivering engaging lessons and supporting children across primary key stages 1 and 2, ensuring they receive the guidance and encouragement needed to reach their full potential. Primary Teaching Assistant (Primary TA) Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in the delivery of lessons for Primary Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Work with small groups or individually to support students' learning and development.
- Help prepare teaching resources, activities, and materials for the classroom.
- Assist with the monitoring and tracking of students’ progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
- Foster the personal and social development of children, promoting independence and confidence.
- Support the teacher in ensuring a safe and well-organised classroom environment.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance.
- A degree in Early Years Education, Primary Education or a similar field,
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to support students across Primary Key Stages 1 and 2, with flexibility to adapt to different learning needs.
- A patient and nurturing attitude, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
