Teacher of Spanish
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: April 2025
Salary: £125 - £160 per day
GSL Education are looking to hire qualified and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to work as Teacher of Spanish at a client Secondary School in York, North Yorkshire starting in April 2025.
As a Teacher of Spanish, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons to secondary students.
- Focus on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish Language.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in the target language.
Teacher of Spanish Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish in a secondary school setting.
- Be able to deliver Spanish to secondary level; having Spanish as a second language is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with children who have additional needs.
- Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and outside agencies.
- Have a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
