Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Hull
Salary Range: £89 - £105 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a warm and inclusive school in Hull. This rewarding role is perfect for those with a genuine passion for supporting students in their academic and personal growth.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will collaborate with teachers and specialists to provide targeted support for students with additional needs. Your role will involve adapting learning strategies, fostering engagement with the curriculum, and encouraging independence while promoting confidence and essential life skills.
Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Support students with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other difficulties.
- Assist with personalised learning plans to meet the individual needs of students.
- Work one-on-one and in small groups to encourage student engagement and progress.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student development, sharing insights with teachers and parents.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to support students' well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training is preferred.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
