GSL Education are seeking a dedicated KS2 educator who can bring energy, creativity, and strong subject knowledge to classrooms across primary schools in Scunthorpe. About the Role:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing young learners' confidence, curiosity, and academic skills. You will have the opportunity to deliver stimulating lessons that challenge students while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted interventions.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage pupils and enhance their understanding.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student development.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour to create a structured learning space.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous KS2 teaching experience in a UK primary school setting.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and teaching strategies.
- The ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Effective classroom management and behaviour strategies.
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
