Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to work in primary schools across Scunthorpe. This role offers the flexibility of daily supply work, with excellent potential for long-term placements.
About the Role:
As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 3-5 in their crucial early development stages. You will be responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive, and structured learning environment, ensuring all children develop essential skills in line with the Early Years curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that support early childhood development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and creative learning environment where young children feel encouraged to explore and learn.
- Implement age-appropriate teaching strategies that cater to various learning needs, including children with SEN.
- Use play-based and hands-on learning techniques to develop key literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Assess and track pupil progress, adapting lesson plans to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and school leadership to ensure each child receives tailored support.
- Encourage positive behaviour management and emotional well-being in the classroom.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience as an Early Years Teacher in a primary school setting.
- A deep understanding of early childhood education principles, EYFS and child development.
- Ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences for young learners.
- Experience supporting children with additional learning needs (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
