Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £83 - £90 per day
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Long-term

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated LSA/HLTA to join a school in Canterbury, from after the Easter break.

 

Key Responsibilities of Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

  • Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support to students.

  • Delivering and planning intervention sessions to support academic progress.

  • Supporting KS3 students, with experience in KS4 preferred.

  • Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working in a secondary school (KS3 essential, KS4 desirable).

  • Be confident in delivering tailored interventions.

  • Be proactive, adaptable, and passionate about supporting student development.

  • Hold relevant qualifications or experience as an LSA/HLTA.
