Job Title: Higher learning teaching assistant (HLTA)

Location: Colchester

Contract type: Full-time/ Long term 

Salary Scale: £85-£120 per day 

Start Date: Immediately 

 

Exciting Opportunity: Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Wanted!

Are you passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential? Do you have the enthusiasm to provide targeted support to learners in a dynamic classroom environment? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team in a secondary school based in Colchester.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-          Assist in planning and delivering lessons to support the learning of individuals and small groups.

-          Provide high-quality, differentiated support for students with varying needs.

-          Support students in their academic progress and provide feedback on their work.

-          Promote a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and participate.

-          Work closely with the class teacher to monitor student progress and provide additional support as needed.

-          Contribute to the overall development of students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth.

-          Inspire students to reach their full potential. 

Qualifications:

-        Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.

-        Strong knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and the role of a teaching assistant in supporting student learning.

-        Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-        Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.

-        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-        Passionate about supporting students to achieve their best.

-        GCSE's or equivalent Grade C (Pass) or above.
