Behaviour Mentor – Redbridge
Location: Redbridge
Salary: £85 to £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work in a supportive and inclusive school in Redbridge.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours.

Assist in implementing individual behaviour support plans.

Promote positive behaviour strategies and help students develop coping mechanisms.

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure student progress.

Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience in an SEN or behaviour support setting is preferable.

Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, resilient approach.

Ability to build trusting relationships with students.

Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
