Science Teacher – Secondary
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: M1 to UPS3; paid to scale (£31,650 – £49,084 per annum)
Start Date: Easter or September 2025
GSL Education Hull are looking to recruit dedicated and qualified Science Teachers to work within secondary schools and academies in Hull, available both this Easter and the upcoming September term. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality Science lessons, engaging students across KS3 and KS4.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Hold PGCE in Secondary Science with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics up to GCSE level.
- Have recent and relevant teaching experience within the last two years (including training placements).
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to maintain high academic standards.
- Be an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who leads by example.
- Have strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
