Location: Ashington
Pay: £84 - £108 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Daily Supply | Long Term

The Role:
As a Post-16 Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students aged 16+, helping them with coursework, study skills, and personal development. You’ll assist in lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Post-16 Teaching Assistant:
✔️ Support students with learning and study skills
✔️ Provide one-to-one and small group assistance
✔️ Track student progress and adjust support where needed
✔️ Work with teachers, staff, and parents to aid student success
✔️ Encourage confidence and independence in learning
What You Need to be a Post-16 Teaching Assistant:
Experience supporting post-16 students
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A patient and supportive approach
Relevant education qualifications (desirable but not essential)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
