Salary: £150 - £220 per day (DOE)

The Role of an Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary:
As an ECT, you'll engage and inspire young learners, delivering high-quality lessons tailored to different abilities. You’ll create a stimulating classroom, assess progress, and support students’ academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities of an Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary:
✔️ Plan & deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum
✔️ Teach KS2 (ages 7-11) pupils
✔️ Use varied teaching methods to suit different learning styles
✔️ Assess progress & provide feedback
✔️ Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
✔️ Collaborate with colleagues for effective teaching strategies
What You Need to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience as an ECT or in a similar primary teaching role
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Ability to motivate & inspire students
Commitment to safeguarding & child welfare
Safeguarding Commitment
This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must pass all background and safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
