Job Title: QTS Primary Teacher
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience).
Start Date: Immediate/ Easter 2025 start
Contract: Full-time (part-time can also be arranged for the right candidate)

Role Overview:
As a QTS Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in a supportive and well-resourced environment, helping to shape the academic journey of young learners. Key Responsibilities of QTS Primary Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students.
- Set high expectations for all pupils, encouraging them to achieve and exceed their potential.
- Regularly assess students’ progress and tailor teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupils’ academic and pastoral needs.
- Contribute to the school’s overall ethos, attending meetings, participating in professional development activities, and supporting school initiatives.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements of QTS Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (Essential).
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, with structured support available.
- Proven ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons in a primary classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring pupil progression.
- Effective classroom management skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Passion for child development and commitment to supporting diverse learning needs.
- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
